We pray for healing in Spirit, Mind and Body through the intercession of Our Lady and St Padre Pio.
To God be the Glory Amen
Patrick's Healing Alison writes: San Giovanni Sept 2008
Patrick had taken his wet sandals off and was going down the marble stairs for a coffee when he slipped on a wet step.
As he crashed backwards onto the steps with his full weight onto his hip and cracking the back of his head I called out Oh no Help him! (to the angels) I shoved my knee into his side to stop his rolling down the stairs but he had banged his head on the wall, jarred his jaw, cut open the skin on his elbow and hurt his shoulders.
He saw a flash of light and felt sick and dizzy but was determined to stand up.
I walked him back to his room, cleaned his head which was now an angry dark purple, and ripped a shirt to make a bandage for his elbow. His jaw, shoulders and hip were too sore to touch. He would not go to hospital just wanted to lie down.
I went back to my room but before I went to sleep I asked Padre Pio that as we were in his earthly home to come and heal him.
The next morning Patrick woke up completely healed, he told me Padre had come to visit him during the night, laid hands on him and prayed "it was as if Jesus Hinself was there"
On
I eventually had chemo and radiotherapy and was very close to death on three occasions. I was too ill to complete the chemotherapy.
Although I passed the 6months deadline I was very ill and resigned to the fact of leaving this earth. The deadline was moved to Christmas 2010.
I had all kinds of scans and my consultant told me on Dec 9th that the cancer had spread to 3 points of my spine, I had previously seen my neighbour, Patrick, and I asked to speak to him again before Christmas. (He came to see me the day before Christmas Eve, placed his hands on my back and prayed for healing.) I was at peace but worried the cancer would reach my brain before death.
My grand-daughter, Katie, insisted on taking me to join them for Christmas in
The extended family has a tradition of canoeing down the river Nene on Boxing Day morning. It was arranged they would leave me at the finishing line and pick me up later. It was very cold, snow and ice, and the river froze. They all decided to walk the route beside the river and I didnt want to wait at the end for them or be pushed in a wheel chair, the snow was too deep.I set off on the 2 mile walk and made it with no difficulty, Everyone was amazed. A MIRACLE!
I had pain in my back and was very tired but began to feel better and eat more, I felt so hungry for everything, like a great awakening.
I had another scan on
I last saw my consultant on 14th April 2011. Again results are inconclusive. At the time of writing I have another scan due and see the consultant again on 25th May.
Whatever happens now is OK. I have got to know my great-grandson. My Katie is a Godsend and I have beautiful loving friends. I have tidied my garden (not touched for a year) I work in Oxfam for a few hours each Saturday and try to be useful whereever I can Thank you God.
MAY 26TH 2011 TODAY I SAW MY CONSULTANT FOR FINAL RESULTS.
NO CANCER IN MY BODY just suffering with pain in back due to breaks in spine. This caused by chemo treatment.
A Miracle! Thank you so much God and thank you Patrick.
Holy Mass
Earth could exist more easily without the sun than without Holy Mass.
If we only knew how God regards this sacrifice, we would risk our lives to be present at a single
In your minds eye transport yourself to
Confession
In our thoughts and in confession, we must not dwell on sins that were previously confessed Because of our contrition, Jesus forgave them at the tribunal of penitence.
Let us hasten confidently to the tribunal of penance where He awaits us at every instant with the anxiety of a father; and even though we are aware of our inability to repay Him, let us have no doubts about the solemn pardon pronounced over our errors.
Let us place a tombstone over them, just as the Lord has done.
The Rosary
Recite the Rosary and recite it frequently.
It costs so little and it is worth so much.
Always say your Rosary and say it well.
Give yourself up into the arms of your Heavenly Mother. She will take good care of your soul.
May she obtain for us the desire to go to her immediately, let us always stay close to her.
My only regret is that I have no adequate means by which to thank the Blessed Virgin.
I am so safe and full of confidence in this Heavenly Mother that I wll never give in.
Prayer
Prayer is the oxygen of the soul.
Every day when your heart especially feels the lonliness of life, pray.
